Natural buckwheat hulls shift with the body instead of holding you in one fixed position. The fill settles beneath the seat to create firm, adaptable support while allowing small adjustments as your posture and sitting position change.

We made the seat more generous and continued refining its shape around the different ways people naturally settle into practice. Stilltide™ is designed, cut, sewn and produced in Vancouver by experienced artisans who brought their craftsmanship into the yoga prop industry in 2011. Years of hands-on work have shaped the way we think about proportion, filling, firmness, construction and how a meditation cushion should feel after more than a few minutes of use. Its wide crescent shaped profile gently supports the hips and thighs while natural buckwheat hulls shift and mold to your body. We refined the shape and proportions to work with different bodies and different ways of sitting. Whether you prefer more space beneath the hips, support through the thighs or room to adjust your position, Stilltide™ is designed to remain supportive as your seat changes.

Made from 100% flax linen, air-treated for natural softness and breathability. The fabric offers a grounded, lived-in texture that feels gentle against the skin while holding up beautifully over time.

Design & Structure

We took great care in developing a shape that supports both form and function. The cushion features a thoughtfully engineered incline to encourage a gentle forward tilt, along with a wide, spacious seat that allows for natural grounding and ease in posture. Every curve and measurement was refined to support stillness, comfort, and alignment throughout your practice.

Each cushion is filled with natural buckwheat hulls that shift and mold to your shape, providing stable, personalized support. The breathable nature of buckwheat allows for airflow and long-lasting comfort during seated practice.
